As some of you know I work in TV and my latest project Last Heroes of the Somme will be n Channel 4 tonight at 19.00. Those overseas can with it via VPN.

As a taster this is an extended version of one of the stories, about a 100 year old lady whose father died on this day on the Somme in 1916.

Sadly I missed it. On 18 November I shall be thinking of my grandfather Private Alma Victor Martin who was killed on the last day of the Battle of the Somme (Ancre).
