It's a small site at the moment but only skimmed it. It says they were found in a boatyard, but not where. It was a good spot, they could so easily have been burned off.

As a new member, I'm unsure if this is the logical place on the website for my query, but here goes:

    * Does anybody have any reference to official charts/orders for the exact loading plan for LCAs on D-Day? By this I mean the basic orders for who sat where in the LCAs carrying a British infantry or Commando company in the assault waves. I have the Mediterranean version circulated in October 1943, in Middle East Training Pamphlet No.16/ Supplement 1 B.

Does anybody know where I might find a later version? It occurs to me that the library at the RM Museum might have loading orders for Cdos on D-Day?
    Grateful for any advice.
