    Saw this memorial to the crew in Helsinki's Hietaniemi cemetery.
    I posted it on another thread but thought I'd start one on it specifically.

    In (very) short form :

    After laying mines, the ship, under Kapitänleutnant Wünning, ran into a Soviet mine on her way back after discharging the Finnish minesweeping escort near Helsinki on 25 September 1941 and sank within a few minutes. Forty sailors were killed. The high death toll was partly a result of the immediate failure of the ship's radio system after the mine hit, which prevented help from being called immediately.
