    bit serious over there aren't they? They're still bickering over the gun laws on page 3, we've moved on to longbows. I'd say we're the superior individuals. ;)

    Interesting that the topic of Wimbledon has come up. I received as a Christmas gift a new book on the history of Smith & Wesson. It's a brief summary, but includes many excellent old photographs.

    In the chapter on competitive marksmanship, there are several photos of the London Olympics of 1908 taken at the Bisley ranges, in this case the handgun range. One caption states that prior to 1900 the ranges were located at Wimbledon, but had to be moved to accommodate city expansion.
