    thank you for all the updates.
    The memorial is set on a new building near the river Lea across from the Olympic Park in London.
    The whole area is under redevelopment.

    In 1942 the printing ink manufacturers is the sole firm listed in the Trade Directories between Wick Lane and Iceland Road. In 1943 this is rejoined by the feather Archaeological Desk Based Assessment Wick Lane, London Borough of Tower Hamlets CgMs Consulting 20 SD/22724 merchants, and the following year a welding company is listed, with a varnish and printing ink manufacturers appearing in 1945. World War Two bomb damage maps in the London & Metropolitan Archives show that the White Hart pub, west south west of the study site, was destroyed, and the large works building formerly occupying the eastern side of the study site was badly damaged.
