Does anyone have any information, photographs or lists, about the 6th Airbourne Regiment who were taken prisoner by the Japanese during WW2 and survived?
Japaneses POWs on American sub. I've read that American sub sailors had very good experiences with Japanese POWs who often served as enthusiastic stewards, laundry men and general cleaners until return to port. One crew pinned a note to their prisoner asking the Marines to treat him well since he was a "good guy"
