I'm trying to find information on James George Winton Slorach RAMC who was killed on 3 Feb 1942 in North Africa. A friend in Scotland found him commemorated on the family gravestone at Bellie Cemetery in Scotland and he is buried at the Tobruk War Cemetery. I understand Rommel was pushing towards Tobruk at that time and it would be interesting if anyone had any information about James's death or unit he was with. Thanks in advance for any help. https://www.cwgc.org/find-records/find-war-dead/casualty-details/2206298/JAMES GEORGE WINTON SLORACH
The casualty lists report him as 'died', this is as opposed to KIA, died as a result of accident etc,
