During World War 2 Jack Mckechnie - later to become guitarist with the fifties and sixties group the Hedley Ward Trio - was based in Antwerp where he is said to have played jazz in a cafe and met jazz trumpeter Ken Rattenbury. Does anyone have any info/photos/reminiscences etc of this event or any of his jazz concerts or the army career of Jack or Jack or the Trio for research I am doing into his life and times?
