    Hi
I am researching Scottish cricketers who died in conflicts. I have been given a person who died in 1943 from Elgin cricket club but I am unsure if he even died.
Really having trouble even locating his full name.
The Elgin club have a picture of him and said he died 1943 In Gibraltar and was in the R.A.F. I thought the initials were wrong but there was a J J Wright who played rugby for Elgin and Moray who had Scotland trials in 1937.

Just in case it helps, No1 OADU (Overseas Aircraft Delivery Unit) was based at Portreath.

    Cheers, Pat
