    Happy New Year
Just wondered how many out there get frustrated using the IWM photo search? Although a great online resource I have a big beef with the search criteria, ability to sort, and for the most part what I consider discontinuity on the subject matter. To take matters into my own hands, over the holidays, I made an Excel spreadsheet grouping my interest in the Mulberry components (including the prototypes). I created a listing by date the picture was taken. In some cases over a few days, but I used the first day. I included the upper and lower picture range, to get a total number for the sequence. Also included is a brief description of the series content. Most were taken from the index info, but I found a few question marks, in some cases I think a location error, and a few cases the index card got out of sequence with the picture. In at least one case the picture is reversed. Not the first time I heard this as Spitfire of the Seas has indicated as such on his Twitter account. Anyway, I found after downloading the approximately 1265 pictures and same number of accompanying index cards, it has given me a much better picture of some events as there are sequential pictures or more details I was interested in. As an example, I had seen on other source websites, one or two of the same pics of the "Swiss Roll". But with my download I have a lot better understanding of how it worked and the fact it needed to be attached to it's own ramp, of which pictures are shown. Although not high res pictures for the most part, it is possible to make out good details.
I have attached a copy of the spreadsheet for anyone to use. I hope it is of some use, Feel free to correct or update me on the few "?" I have noted.
As I'm across the pond, I don't have luxury of an in-person visit to IWM, so have to rely upon what's electronically available.
    Cheers
