Just as a minor Postscript.... Little nuggets of information are still occasionally popping to the surface; today I bought a copy of this month's Classic Bike Guide with an eight-page special on the Royal Enfield Interceptor and all its history. Obviously, the whole thing was more oriented at the bike and its history - but I did manage to glean ONE new piece of information...the factory's NAME! Apparently the plant was known as the "Westward" factory, in Bradford-on-Avon
