    Hi all,

I've lurked for a short while and thought I'd introduce myself.

Obviously I have an interest in ww2 history - especially British Airbourne (my grandfather was a para at Arnhem), and I also model and wargame the period.

Thought it was time to say hello, Im the son of a 91 year old sapper who served with the 88th chemical warfare company, the christchurch experimental bridges establisment and the 621st field squadron R/E 7th armoured division, He was the driver of the squadrons reconnaissance half track in Normandy. He did not return to Normandy untill 2004, and the last two years his picture has been on the D-day posters round Bayeux.
As for me i hope to make this years return a very special,And learn anything that will help.
