That is a nice Film! Made about a Story of Luftwaffe Pilots and English Pilots beeing thrown together in a Snowstorm. Together they try to survive! Surley, its not an Action Movie! But close to the Human as it could get!!
Originaly it is a Norway Movie! Englisch Men speak English and Germans are speaking German!
The best Way it should be watched!

I watched it too recently, I believe that "Into the White" is known as "Cross of Honour" in the UK. Just to confuse the issue even more I hear it was originally called "Comrade". The story of a Luftwaffe crew and a British (Fleet Air Arm?) crew who shoot each other down during the Norwegian campaign in 1940, and are then forced to work together in order to survive.

I thought it was okay, but not as good as I had hoped.

One of things I couldn't help wondering about during the film was the odd combination of an RM Captain pilot, and an RAF Aircraftman AG. Was this ever done?

I know that erks were used as AGs in RAF service during the earlier part of the war, but would they have been badged as AG at that time? Also as far as I'm aware RAF War Service Dress wasn't brought in till December 1940 thus making it's use in the film somewhat incorrect.

I think the Luftwaffe rank badges were incorrect too?

Any other mistakes that I didn't spot?

    Cheers
    Joe
