Instant Inline Notifications. Keeping up with the Forum.

Looking at who's following what Topic/Thread or Forum (Top right), and I suspect people aren't utilising the fine notifications system here.
May be wrong, but if they were, I think I'd see a few more bods following threads they participated in.


Just in case some haven't hit on this yet:


You can do it manually, by clicking 'Follow this Topic/Forum':



Or far more usefully, do it via your settings.

Hit your username extreme top right and select 'My settings'.
> Select 'Notification Options'.
>> Just under 'Topics & Posts' there, tick the box, and set the dropdown to 'immediate'.
>>> Tick all the boxes you can under 'Notification List'
>>>> Save changes at the bottom of the page.





Do that, and the little red notifications: are the best way to keep up with threads you started, have replied to, people quoting you, etc.
