Hi all im new to this I have come across a hold 16 forward trailer section r.a.o.c. first canadian army british liberation army holand 1944/45 type book with 41 photos in it My question is where would i take this to have it valued if it has any value
Someone had one up for €150 in 2008, but no indication whether it actually sold for that: STIWOT Forum - Toon onderwerp - Te koop historie RAOC section Holland oa Arnhem/Groesbeek
Well, what people want and what they get can be two different things. An Ebay 'buy it now or best offer' would test the water.
To be honest i didnt think it be worth anything I dont do ebay its a rip off with there fees Hopefully someone will quide me in the right place to take it Thanks for your reply
Unfortunately, that's the price of getting it to the widest audience. Amazon is another option, but it's still a significant fee. A dealer, though, is only going to give you a percentage of what he thinks he can get for it through similar channels with similar fees. If you're not fussed about the value, you could ask the Royal Logistic Corps if they want it for their archive?
Why not upload some of it's content's.Might tease a bit of interest from member's on the forum. Graham.
