In today Times newspaper there is a notice in the memorial section. It mentions 12 men executed in Feb 1915 by the Germans It looks as if they all came from Irish regiments. I have googled but can find nothing on it. Any ideas anyone?

No problem. Have you had a look at the linked 'Stand To' article - it looks rather substantial? Given that most were from what became the Republic, I wonder to what extent their memory was a victim of postwar Irish politics? Maybe it's in the article, I ought to read it, really...
