At first I thought you were off to PNG.
Film looks good. Wonder how long it'll take to get to UK?

    I hope it's good.

That link will not open for me now as it wouldn't open in February.

When /Where is the movie on? Haven't had time to look at a paper of late.

That seems a bit strange that it wont open.

According to the papers and the Birch site, it starts tomorrow.

I just got back from seeing it.

I rather liked it. I don't want to say any spoilers so I wont say what happened.

Since this thread is rather old, has anyone else seen the movie.
Any ideas if it's available in the UK?
Bit of it on You Tube.

Yes I have seen it and thought it didn't do the book justice. I collect war movies, but I'd never bother to add that one to my collection.
I do own the book that was published last year.

Well whadya know, the shady charactor just got promoted to warrant rank.

What's up with that one then?
Looking at the trailer and clip on You Tube it looks OK.
    Any big glaring errors?
Or is it the way the lads are portrayed?
How about a quick review for us?

To answer your question all it is necessary to say is that for Australia's second World War Gallipoli, it could have and should have been a hell of a lot better all round.

For it's subject, which Australia in general, quotes with great pride as the place where Australians finally stopped the Japanese advance, it just isn't good enough.

Cheers mate but the one I found on eBay cost £14.99 plus p&p.
If I wait until June it will only cost £7.99 from play.com.

I know this is an old thread but I picked this film up from
blockbuster last year for £5.00 and have only just got
round to watching it...so for my two pennies I thought it
was a good film and well worth a look :)

This was a pretty boring movie. Most of the scenes were repetitive.

Yes, if it was not centred around such an important WW2 battle. Those Aussies definitely deserve a better movie!

I understand that it was also caused by the limited budget of the producers, but... it could have simply been better.
