If you're new - and haven't received an activation Email...

A fair few email providers and ISPs will 'bounce' our activation emails for new members. In my opinion this is their not exactly cutting edge spam filters rejecting any and all emails sent from websites.

Known problem ISPs:
Orange/freeserve, AoL, Tiscali - among others.

If you've registered and did not receive an activation email then please use the 'Contact Us' button at the bottom of every page to tell us, and we can usually sort things very quickly.

I did briefly trial scrapping the activation emails, but it just lets in every spam-bot that tries to register. For the same reason I'm afraid I'm loath to just manually approve all new chaps sat overlong in the 'awaiting activation email' category.
