    Tommy Cooker.

Couldn't think of the terminology however we used to take a similar apparatus when we went hiking and there were no open fires allowed.

What was the fuel source for the Tommy Cooker?

As soon as I was in my trench, I decided I would make some tea. So I took out my Tommy Cooker, put it in the bottom of the trench, took out a cube and lit up, found a tea cube and put it in my mess tin. I was just about to mix the tea cube when ,all of a sudden, a shell fell short, up went the sand in my trench and knocked my Tommy cooker over- that was my tea gone!

A little easy for a tank wallah. Designed as an anti-craft rocket it was modified to become an anti-tank missile.

ok ok, i was bored thats all here is the definition:

    Kramer X-7 Rotkäppchen
This was a wire-guided anti-tank missile. The X-7 had a short, fat body, large twin fins, and a trailing arm carrying the guidance wire spool. It had a 2.5kg shaped-charge warhead. Small numbers of pre-production missiles were used in combat. There was also a Steinbock version with IR homing guidance.

Enjoy your sleep - after all what do they say comes before "beauty"?

Here's a two part question. The Japanese paid the sum of 625,000 Reichmarks to the Germans for what? Did the Germas deliver?

Could be wrong -but the shipment of uranium on the u-boat that left for Japan in the last days of the war. It was captured so that would make it a no.

Unless the sum paid for the uranium was the same the answer is incorrect.

The great thing about these quizzes is there is always something new to learn about the greatest war in history - I was not aware of the u-boat/uranium shipment.

    Cheers, Gerry

    A Tiger tank?
There's an excellent photo of some high ranking japanese officers with the ambassador in full number 1's and swords being shown around the factory.

    as for what they recieved?
not much, If I recall the tank was never delivered, the Japanese 'loaned' it to the German war effort,

    cheers,
    Adam.
