    I think its a collection point for the dead (in this case, German...most of the pics of deadies in the album are British). There's a nice one of a cart load being drawn by a mule...echoes of the "Bring out yer dead" plague days... and a few open mass grave shots (he was one hell of a cheery photographer!!!)

    Some gruesome photos there Dave, reminds me of the stereoscope pictures in the Hill 60 museum (I think) from WW1. Terrifying but thought provoking.

    i'd stop worrying right now, Owen!!! .... this is how I caught the youngest the other day during a typical bedtime!!!:rolleyes:
