So this is what four jumbled-up platoons of my German infantry now look like when legging it across a field, as it happens in three different directions. This is the first time I have had them en masse and even within the limits of photographic reproduction when using a Canon Powershot A400 compact digital camera, it is quite easy to tell the units apart. They are in an overall Humbrol 27 unlike more recent paintjobs which have 27 trousers & tunics in 31. When I first started gaming I cut away the belt feeds for the MG34s to 'make them into' PzB38s but have to deconvert some back now I know more about unit organization.
