All: I posted a Foreign Military Study titled “Organization of Air Defense in the Field” to my website; located at the bottom of the front page. It is about the I Flak Corps in France 1940. Regards, Marc www.maginotlineatwar.com
Fascinating stuff Marc, I shall come back and read it properly tomorrow. I'm sure that the A.A. that was swiftly installed to protect the relarively few bridges that were initially captured was a major factor in permitting the swift advance. Certainly more than a match for Fairey Battles and HP Hampdens.
I see they claim to have sunk a destroyer at Boulogne, that was a myth wasn't it. Wild Swan, Venomous , Venetia ,Venetia & Whitshead were at Boulogne some were damaged but none were sunk.
