Humber Scout Car photo

  1. I'm looking for a higher resolution copy of IWM BU 3511, which shows a Humber Scout Car of 'A' Sqn, 1st Lothians & Border Yeomanry in the streets of Arnhem on 14 April 1945:

I'm trying to find out if the writing above the squadron sign is the WD number of the vehicle's name and also what is written inside the squadron triangle.

Thanks in advance for your help.

  3. Sure, but then there are about 2,000 other IWM photos that I want more than this one :)

Plus the IWM does not provide analogue prints anymore, and I don't care to pay such high fees for lousy 300dpi images probably scanned from the small prints they have at their image archives, instead of from the original negative :(

If you open the pdf application form, it still lists pricing for manual copying from negatives.

  5. Correct, I had forgotten that, thanks! What I now do recall is that it does not make sense to order only one print at a time, not with delivery charges of about £18 for Europe plus a £5 processing fee...
