Two Irish grandmothers and one grandfather of Scottish descent, whose families arrived in Canada between 1820 and 1840. The other grandfather is descended from French immigrants who arrived around 1645.
I'm only second generation Canadian. Three of my grandparents were from England (two from Dover, one from Southampton) and the fourth was German and from Berlin - she was fortunate to be studying in the UK before the war.
