Thanks Mike, seems that he died on the same day that the Allies invaded Labuan, wonder if he was executed as per Japanese directive? Regards Mike
You guys have been awesome and have given me a huge start to put the bones on their stories. With the help of the COFEPOW website and a few other sites i have found i should be able to put some of the flesh onto these stories. However, i don't think any book or website could begin to describe the horrors these men and survivors went through in their years as POW's in the hands of the Japanese. Again i would like to thank all of you that have helped me with giving information so freely, if anyone can add to any of the information already on this thread it would certainly be appreciated. Particularly would like to find a roll of honour for those killed in the hospital massacre at Singapore before the surrender. Kind regards Mike
