    It's (slightly) funny but the WO/Gordon Highlanders seem to have no records of my late father in Ww1 or WW2. BUT here he is with the 2 most Senior Generals in Anti-Aircaft Commsnd!! And I his 1st hand descriptions of 21/3/18 (I think the second bloodiest day of Ww1) as well as (about) 7 days hand to hand with bayonets at the Marne.

    The MX nos. on that website only seem to go up to MX33!! Tho' the photo' clealrly shows MX101!!!!

    Well the caption to the photo does say
    101st Rocket Troops Middlesex Home Guard

    But the actual caption on the IWM photo does not have this information about "101st...." this appears to have been added later!
    I now see that the "101st Rocket Anti-Aircraft Battery" is suggested by Denham History to be to be somehow associated with Buckinhamshire Home Guard.

    Thanks for sharing the wonderful items in your collection. My Dad was in the Home Guard and I have a group photograph in which he features. I think he was in the 13th Battalion in Kent, as he lived in the Rochester area.
