It all makes sense! Elvis Presley was a well known Nazi too.

Having read some of the AHF thread , what can one say ...a pound of tripe would be worth more, somehow it is very difficult to see history being rewritten on the strength of this..... not really the sort of thing one takes remotely seriously.
Me thinks this thread has given it all the attention it deserves.

Why are you so dismissive of tripe? It's quite good really!

Worth more than Hitler's alleged escape from Berlin. :)....would pass on both of them any day of the week.

Every body knows that Hitler was killed by B.J." Blazkowicz when trying to escape from a POW camp.

This Hitler escape thing is really too stupid to take anyway remotely seriously and beyond the conspiracy theory crew who love these things.
I wonder at what point the author "realised" the "Hitler had escaped" and he realised that "mainstream historians" had been wrong ?
So many people involved , aircrew , ground crew, U-Boat crews and it remained secret for how long .... why did they remain silent for so long ?

I wonder if Dunstan REALLY realised the damage this could ultimately do to his rep? It's the WWII historian equivalent of an archeologist mentioning the A______s word! :):):)

I have no doubt that as the war shifts further away in terms of years, people will hop more and more on the speculative bandwagon, using the mists of time to color their arguments! I thought he flew in a JU390 to Manchukuo as it was an intercontinental........ ok lets not go there!!

Yes, and there he met King Charles I with his neck intact.

Star spangled banner? Sure, but also the Union Jack, the Tricolore, blue flags with white stars in various arrangements, blue crosses on a white field, vice versa, etc, etc. I was making reference only to the What If section, the rest I have no quarrel with, on the contrary.
