I have the IWM Dept. of Printed Books / Battery Press, Inc hardback reprint of 'France & Flanders'. There is a map included in the rear pocket but no colour on it.

My feeling with this book is that it is certainly useful for checking objective facts, dates etc. and its primary value is as a demonstration of establishement thinking at the time (or at least shortly thereafter).

Is it possible to search the Hyperwar on-line volumes ? If so could someone tell me how ?:)

It doesn't appear to be officially part of the official history series, but I've just acquired a copy of the very-closely-related HMSO-published Northern Ireland in the Second World War by John Blake. It's a bit of a curiosity as it covers both the home front and the doings of the local forces overseas. There's even a chapter on Dunkirk!

It appears to have been reprinted in a couple of different formats. Caveat emptor as there is an identically-titled book by a chap called Barton who also provided an introduction to the reprint.
