Does anyone have information regarding the forthcoming publication of two volumes of this series:

History of the Royal Regiment of Artillery
The Middle East and Italy, 1942-45
    North-West Europe, 1944-45

It has been over 16 years since the publication of the volume "The Far East Theatre 1941-46" and over 20 years since the volume "Years of Defeat 1939-41" was published.

No, but I'd be very interested to hear any.

    Edit:
    Author: Martin Farndale; Publisher: Brassey's.

According to publishers Stone and Stone the book hasn't been published yet.
Sir Martin Ferndale passed away in 2000 so perhaps he didn't finish writing it

Sheldrake here is writing the NWE volume, picking up from the late Will Townend of the RA Historical Society who had made a start on it. Not sure if there's a target date...

I've always wanted a copy of his Far east book, and I guess in regards to the other unfinished books that's the trouble when you invest time in to a major book on such a scope of a single campaign.

That book is rather on the large size. I know of a copy going for £50. dryan67 has mentioned all three books. I did not obtain them.. Not much use, I was buying others. If my memory serves me correct, the book seller had all three. Some what fed up, I've been looking at buying a book for a while.. Its not there anymore. One only has so much coin.

Edit. I think i may have got mixed up with the original question. Will get back with in time.
