Hello Drake and welcome to the Forum. My regiment, the North Irish Horse, supported the Royal West Kents in several actions, unfortunately the battalions involved are not always mentioned in our Battle Report. However, there is one entry on the 1st Bn. See Page 61 of:
    http://www.nih.ww2site.com/nih/addenda/BattleReports/P1.html

Back home I have quite a lot of info - including photographs - on the many units we supported. On return from my extended stay in Bali, I will check to see what I have on RWK and 1st Bn in particular. If anything turns up I will post it here.

With best wishes to you and yours,

    Gerry
