    Thank you so much for the document. I had the marriage but not the address. I guess it may have been Joseph who was living with them.

    You really should follow the advice for his official records, the only other piece of information you need is a death certificate - have you got one? If you haven't post his full name, actual dob and death and the location and we will search for the info you need.

    The redacted persons on the 1939 Register images we now have access to are usually those who born after 1916 & not recorded on it as deceased when it stopped being amended in 1991. As with any docs there will be exemptions to this and there is a good chance that if Joseph was there he would not be redacted.

    Could this person also be the third redacted person in the household. This could be a birth registration & amendment to the registration of same rather than two separate births.
