Help with research in to a family member in RAF during war.

    Have this photo in family photos,think he is a flight seargant in RAF WW2,think his last name is Davies,his father name is Allan,he was killed in war,this photo taken at a studio in Pride Hill,Shrewsbury,and thats all i know,can anyone help? 20210227_204152.jpg 20210227_204203.jpg

    you need to apply for his service records once you have found out his date of birth and you have the correct person
    read the info on here Get a copy of military service records

    is there anything else you have to give forum members more info

    My family lived in and around Wales And Shropshire,and i think his father was just named Allen,but thanks for looking

    Yes she is my grandads sister,and Allen was their cousin,and the photo is Allens son.

    They are all long gone now,otherwise i could of asked them,but i have now all the family photos,and would love to put a name to the photo.

    we have a few smart people on here who hopefully will help you track this down

    do you have her detail date of birth and death and they will be able to work with that and your grandads info

    Thankyou lets hope one of them might be connected to the photo,my grandad David Davies was born and died in Knucklas Wales 1898-1976,his sister Sarah Harper was born 1894 in Knucklas and died 1983 Knighton Powys,their mum was Elizabeth Davies who married a George Davies,it was Elizabeths brother Willam who was born in Clun Shropshire in 1853 that was Allens father,think Allen was born Knighton 1888,thats all i have,so far.
