My Grampa was a Cameron Highlander and whilst moving up through Italy at the end of the war was seconded to the 6th Armoured. I have a patch and signet ring. I cannot find any info or even any pics of another example. Can anyone provide any more info on it/ if its a one off, whether I'm looking in the wrong places or even a value?

I would suggest that it was made up by someone in the workshops who's peacetime job was making these type of rings, and in his spare time made one or two to sell for some beer money.
Value depends on what collectors are willing to pay.

    Both,
Thanks for the info, all quite interesting... I did wonder if had been made as it almost seems too plain with very little detail or work going into it...
