At long last I have received the service records I have been waiting for which you will see attached. I am having problems with deciphering in places, I am particularly interested to know who Philips went to NA with. Was it 11th Fusiliers or 2 Parachute battalion? Also can anyone please confirm that AMMUA Camp is a TA camp? Many thanks, Barb.
Barb, it may be wise to get the scans done again in jpeg (not PDF). Also, who ever does them for you, can you ask them to do them in colour, not black & white? I have tried to read some of these scans and it does help that they are not in the correct orientation. I have downloaded the attached pages & tried to convert into jpeg (but to no avail.). Not sure why that is. Please see attachment. Others will be able to take there glasses off then. Stu. Edit.. Perhaps one of the Mods can move this thread to the Service records section.
