I see he was on open arrest (AWOL) up until D Day. I know he was seriously wounded at Echt during Operation Blackcock . I do not have the exact date of injury but he ended up in hospital a Lille. I do not understand all the units he passed through which I assume were Hospitals. I can make out that Posted to H&SC from 52 RHLL 15 Con. Dep. (Convalescent?) 41 RHA 2CA pool The last unit he served with after being downgraded was 307 P, Mil Gov. Dept of which I can find no trace.
