Help to ID this buckle.

    Its German, Nazi obviously.

    Anyone any idea of its origin, who would have had it.

    Cany get clearer pictures with my camera.

    It's ringing a bell but I'd like to be sure.

    Hit the books.
    It looks like the Standard Waffen SS Officer belt buckle but as the design remained the same for 33-45 it could have belonged to an Allgemeine uniform., usually about 45mm??? Not usually worn for field use.. Marks look good but watch yourself as tons of fakes pour out of poland every year (All 'veteran finds..')
    depends on wether the text is the SS Oath as there's a few variations..

    doubts now creeping in due to fuzzy pic. Is the eagle a standard one or is it facing right and clutching anything? can't make it out.
    Aaand another edit.... The joy of photoshop. Definitely not the above (hohum), thought it was odd that anyone on this site would be looking for help with a standard item...
    back to the drawing board.
