I am currently working on a website for Suffolk's anti-invasion defences, but am a bit stuck on Minefields. I have found a reference in various div/brig war diaries to spacing of anti-tank mines (in groups of 8-10, 40 yd spacing) but don't have any info on anti-personnel mines. Also does anyone know what a RE No 1 mine is - 558 fld coy laid 700 of them between May-Nov 1940! Would also appreciate any info on mines and spacings likely to have been used between 1940-42 for Home defence.
Thanks in advance for any help
    Dave
