    Hello all.
I have just signed up to this forum and wonder if anyone can help me with the history of an artefact I have found?
Im fairly sure its an RAF metal trunk in the name JC Nicholson. His service number is 2280103 and im fairly sure the Lac stands for leading aircraftsman?. I know hes from Northumberland and Im fairly sure its WW2.
Really hope someone out there can help?
I intend to try the army forum on this site for info on my grandad who was in "A force" in Egypt and Tobruk during the war. Im excited about what I may learn.
Kind regards and thanks to anyone who takes the time to help.
    Ron
