If people don't mind I will Hijack this topic , for some research I am doing about some research we are doing at Stapelmoor/Stapelmoorheide. In wich I want to find out more about the location of casaulties in that area. Already got help from David about the Le Chaudiere.Wich seemed to casualities near Hamrich area, and where brought to Stapelmoorheide, where I think was a CCS. QOR of Canada at Dutzumer Verlaat, North Shore NB, Wd I have only goes to 22th of April, so no idea. SDGH crossing Bingumer Canal as stated above. 7th Recce, my WD goes only till 22 April, but presime area Bunde?, No WD of 20 Field company RE. So any help appriciated with any missing pages or info from any Regimental books. Will visit to area later this month.
There was a Aid post/HQ at Stapelmoorheide, I was told today at my visit there, but no photographs or other information available, does anyone know, which troops ocuppied that area?
