My 11yr old grandson bought this in Scotland at the weekend. Any ID help would be great, looks a bit German ish! Thanks Rob
It appears to be a WWII German Type Bulgarian Steel Combat Helmet. http://www.shopbulgaria.com/files/products/cache/w_1299760140_5000_4000_1299763767.jpg Kyle
..and this website expalins if it's a M36 A B or C. http://www.lawranceordnance.com/the_q_store/helmets/bulgarian_m36c.php Adopted before WW2 there are three variations of the M36 helmet, A, B and C. The A has a rolled edge, is made from a heavier gauge of metal, and has a more pronounced crest. The B has no rolled edge, while the C has no rolled edge and a less distinct crest as well as a different method of attaching the liner.
