Hi everyone. I just joined today as I'm doing some digging into our family history. My grandfather, George Whitehead, joined up with the Algonquin Regiment in Belgium late 1944 and spent some time as a POW in Stalag XI-B. my great uncle was part of the d-day invasions with the North Nova Scotia Highlanders and was taken POW shortly after outside Caen and spent the remainder of the war in Stalag 357/XI-D. If any of you have expertise on these units or camps, I'd love to exploit your knowledge. Thanks. Erin
