    Howdy Y'all,
    A short introduction - I am the son of a WWII vet who served in Europe with the 8th Armored Division.

    At age 20, I was found 4F by the US Military due to a knee injury. But since then, I have been drafted into WWII as the editor of the 8th Armored Division Association newsletter. :D

    I will be searching this forum for references to the 8thAD.

    Richard - Welcome aboard, the 8th US Armored Division also was involved in the Rhineland battle 1945 (Wesel Pocket).
