Hello everyone, My name is Faizal, 23 year old from The Netherlands. Since 4 years I just keep watching dvd's about the second world war. One of the best I have seen is: Band of Brothers. I think that that movie really can provide a feeling how it must have felt to be there. Somehow I have to stop myself shedding a tear, when watching the real heroes telling the stories. I don't know why but, somehow I can feel the pain. I wish I could help them... to talk to them... to give them some support when they need it... as I think I have to thank them for the way I live my life today. with kind regards and respect, Faizal Siddiqui The Netherlands
Somehow I have to stop myself shedding a tear, when watching the real heroes telling the stories. I don't know why Ayup (northern English 'hello' ), you're not alone there mate, it's the last post on remembrance day that sends a shiver up my spine.
Hello Faizal, Welcome. Where in the Nederlands do you live? Do you know who liberated that area in WW2? Maybe we can track down some Veterans who were there.

To awnser a question: I am from Capelle aan den IJssel ( a small city next to Rotterdam ) Where are you all from? Come on then everyone, who liberated that town, I'm guessing the canucks before I look it up properly. I'm from Swindon, home of the Honda factory.
I'm from Bear Town (Congleton, in Cheshire) Don't ask, it's a long and not very edifying story. Hope you enjoy the forums dude, even if we do bicker like over grown kids at times. But i must admit some of the arguments are very amusing. You'll like it here.
Very posh in Congleton, in Cheshire ye know except for the bears in the woods, and we all know what they do there.
