hello i am new to this site,i am mainly looking for information regarding my Granddad who fought in WW2. he was 2595092 CPL W.G. ELLIS from an air letter he sent to my grandma i can make out he was with D.R SEC. 2.COY 11TH L OF C SIGNALS. I do not know much of my granddad has he passed away before i was born and from what my mother says he very rarely spoke about his time during the war but we do have several photos of my granddad and his army regiment possibly friends he made., it would be lovely to have any information on my granddad or any of his regiment, thanks ps i do have some photos of my granddad and his regiment that when i work out how to add i will do.

i do have some more slight information, my granddad was a dispatch rider and mum remembers him telling her that when he was in the desert and it thundered the lightning would dance of his handlebars, mum also mentioned that he was in burma, if any help i am really at a loss with all this, thanks again.
