Ex RAOC,served from 1975 to 1982,i,m intrested in the 2ND DEVONS WW2 my dads brother served with the 2n Devons,My father served with the 7th Devons,so any info on these units would be great.all the best to you all.
Welcome aboard, I've a family connection with 2nd Devons too, my Great-Grandfather fell while serving with them in WW1. Hope you find some stuff to interest you here. Cheers, Adam.

Thanks for the welcome,i know that my Dads brother died on D Day whilst landing with the 2nd Devons.My old man did;nt have much to say about his or anyones service,he did mention his brother did 2/3 landings??

Paul - some of the numbers of the 2nd Devons - i.e. 144 - 145 - 146 are really scary as mine - and Ron's numbers started with 143 as joining in 1942 - not too long for them to learn their craft before death...so young ! Cheers
