Does anyone know the first name of Commander Bugge, in charge of the Heinkel 115s at Helensburgh used for special ops? I know it was not Peter Bugge, later a Comet test pilot, or Jan Otto Bugge, whose Mosquito collided with a Wellington. Robin Bird achgelis@yahoo.co.uk
Ref Helensburgh's Heinkels. I know Norwegian pilot Lt Ravin attempted Helensburgh in a MF 11 floatplane but does any one know how many other MF 11s attempted or made Helensburgh, and or Scotland? Likewise, how many Heinkel He8 floatplanes from Denmark?
