    Assume he was not in service when he died.

    thank you for your replies

    He might still have been in service and missed by CWGC (unlikely)
    He possible died after discharge from the services.
    Although he could have become ill before discharge so possible a CWGC casualty with further investigation

    anyway
    Will look to get death cert to check it out

    He died of TB
    states was a Stevedore no mention of service
    assume he left service went back to his job then was taken ill
