    Great stuff bod. I've liked these amphibious cars. Did anyone see Top Gear where they had to make amphibious cars?

    That was great but the first crossing of the English channel by amphibious car was by a German. In 1934, Baulig (Germany) develops its Land-Wasser-Auto and successfully completed a crossing of the handle of Calais to Dover in 1935.

    Nice looking site mate, I shall check that out properly later.
    Wheatcroft's got a few of the military prototypes hasn't he?
    If I remember right they actually built a lot more than I'd thought.

    Those military Trippels are rare in preserved condition, and Mr Wheatcroft does have a few.. just down the road.
