When clearing her fathers house, my sister in law found a Haerens Tojhus 1889 model bayonet. I believe it was for a Krag rifle. I wonder if any one can give me more information on it. Other markings on its hilt are "19 B 199" which has a line scored through it, then below it is "32 B 753". On the other side is what could be a crown with the number 12 under it at the blade end of the hilt, and at the other end "81454".

I don't know how you concluded on the 1899, but the Danish Hærens Tøjhus was operational from 1909 to 1932.
When I put into google (NB with the correct Danish letters) 'Hærens Tøjhus bajonett bayonett' I get quite a few interesting hits. I recommend you to attempt this.

Hi Stormbird, I visited several sites prior to posting my request, they all indicate that it is a "Model 1889" bayonet. This does not mean that it was manufactured in 1889 by Hærens Tøjhus. Thanks for the advise on using the Danish letters, I will work my way through the sites.
