Are any Pals from the GWF unable to access that site? Or is just me? I get the following whenever I try to login since about midday today:

Warning: Unknown(/home/n914191/public_html/forums/index.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in Unknown on line 0

Warning: Unknown(/home/n914191/public_html/forums/index.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in Unknown on line 0

Warning: (null)() [function.include]: Failed opening '/home/n914191/public_html/forums/index.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in Unknown on line 0

Cheers (and apologies to Lee:) )

    Same here.
Dread to think how long the thread discussing the downtime on there will be when it gets back up and running again!

A handful of members making joking refs to cold turkey, or having to get a life, I imagine, Dave - no great problem, I'd have thought, and no great disruption to the main purpose of the forum.?

    Jim :)

Just had a look. You're correct (it's always the same on there when it breaks down - might be easier to just cut and paste an old thread and re-issue it next time:D )

You may think that, Dave - I couldn't possibly comment. Well, yes, I could - I imagine that if this forum were to go offline for a day or two, members would probably discuss it, in a joking way, once they were able to converse again. It's the way of friends and colleagues, cyber- or otherwise. Those who find small talk and chit-chat a waste of valuable resources will obviously avoid it. That's fine.

    Cheers,

    Jim
